You Can Make a Difference for Local Children
No child in our community should go hungry on the weekends.
When you give your time, resources, or voice, you help make sure they don’t.
There are many ways to get involved with the Bean Bag Food Program.
Whether you’re donating, volunteering, or rallying support through your school, workplace, or place of worship, your impact stays right here in our local neighborhoods.
Make a Financial Gift
Every dollar goes toward purchasing food for children in need, unless you choose to support our operational costs. We also welcome grants from Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs), Qualified Charitable Distributions (RMDs), and gifts of appreciated securities – tax-efficient ways to support children facing hunger in our community.
Donate Food
We accept non-perishable food donations anytime at the address below or order from our Amazon Wish List and have your donation delivered directly to the Bean Bag Food Program.
Organize a 100 BOX CHALLENGE Food Drive
The 100 Box Challenge is an on-going food drive that helps keep our shelves stocked and children fed throughout the year. We provide the shopping list, flyers, and collection bins — you collect the food, one box at a time! Are you ready to take on the 100 Box Challenge and help fight childhood hunger in our community?
Volunteer
Whether you’re packing food bags or delivering meals, volunteers make this work possible. We welcome individuals, families, and groups who want to help.
Become a Community Partner
Local businesses, churches, and organizations play a vital role in sustaining our mission. Let’s partner on a special event, food drive, or ongoing support opportunity.
Every Act of Kindness Adds Up
Your efforts, big or small, help fill a bag with food and a child’s heart with hope. When we come together as a community, we can make sure no local child goes hungry on the weekends.
